RETAIN YOUR PURCHASE RECEIPT Your purchase receipt is your permanent record of a valuable purchase. It should be kept in a safe place to be referred to as necessary for insurance purposes or when corresponding with Marantz. Note The surround mode returns to the previous setting as soon as the headphone plug is removed from the jack. Press the EQ button on the remote controller. Each time the EQ button is pressed, the function is switched between OFF and ON. OFF : The ROOM EQ function is not used. Press the AUDIO button on the remote controller. Each time the AUDIO button is pressed, the audio mode is switched. 1. 2. Press the CH SEL button on the remote controller. SYNC button on the remote controller. Each time the LIP. SYNC button is pressed, the difference in the timing can be adjusted in 10-ms increments using the 1/2 cursor buttons. The sound of the main and sub-channels is played. Press the 1/2 cursor buttons to adjust the volume level of the speaker displayed. When the 2 button is pressed, the volume level is increased; conversely, when the 1 button is pressed, it is reduced. When the level adjustments for all the speakers have been completed, press the CH. SEL button to exit the settings. 4. The default setting is 0 ms, and adjustment up to 200 ms is possible. Perform the adjustment while monitoring the images on the display, projector or other video component. Note This function is deactivated (0 ms) in the SOURCE DIRECT mode. When the SOURCE DIRECT mode is released, the value that has been set is restored. 28 ENGLISH ADVANCED OPERATION VIDEO CONVERT FUNCTION The unit is equipped with a video convert function which outputs analog video input (video input or component video input) signals to HDMI. This means that these signals can be viewed simply by connecting one HDMI cable between the unit's HDMI OUT terminal and monitor regardless of the method used to connect the player and the unit's VIDEO terminals or COMPONENT VIDEO terminals. (For the setting procedure, see page 19. ) Notes · With this function, the media may not be properly played in the still, fast forward, reverse play and other modes. · With the video-convert function, out-of-sync or other types of trouble may arise depending on the TV, projector or component used.
