Deep Color 12-bit (billions instead of millions colours, better reproduction of subtle differences in gradation and a higher contrast ratio) · Connect the HDMI cable to your screen (TV, monitor of projector) with the "HDMI output" of the Connect350. Connect the external infrared receiver to the "IR Extender" input of the Connect350 and mount it somewhere in sight of your remote control. For example up, under or at the side of your A/V centre. This way you can keep operating the Connect350, even when it is located in a closed cabinet. Connect the power adaptor to the power connector of the Connect350 and connect to the mains. remark 1: In most cases the Connect350 operates without power adaptor. Standard all HDMI cables are equipped with a 5V power pin, but unfortunately not all HDMI sources support this functionality. So it depends on your HDMI sources if connecting the power adaptor to the Connect350 is necessary. You can test this by simply disconnecting the power adaptor from the Connect350 and see if it is still functioning properly. Switching between the connected HDMI sources Automatically When one of the HDMI sources is switched on, the Connect350 will automatically switch to the correct input channel. With the selection button on the switcher With the Select button at the top of the panel you can manually switch between the various HDMI sources. With the remote control Point the remote control at the external infrared receiver of the Connect350 and press the number that corresponds with the desired HDMI source. No (or poor) image and sound If you experience poor or no image after connecting the HDMI switcher, try to recover the problem by connecting the devices one at the time to your screen (TV, monitor or projector). This way you can determine whether the problem lies with the HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, the HDMI switcher or the screen. HDMI devices which are not tested and certified by ATC (Authorized Test Centers) can cause image and sound problems. Check if the power adaptor of the Connect350 is connected and plugged into the mains. Do not use HDMI cables that are longer than specified in the technical data. Both the HDMI source and your screen have to support HDMI fully. [. . . ] Every remote control you are using at the moment.
