[. . . ] With batteries Insert 6 pieces `D' size ALKALINE batteries (not included) into the battery compartment with correct polarity. For using the batteries, make sure the Power adapter is not connected. Note: Remove the batteries when they are empty of if you are not using the device for a longer period. With supplied power adapter Connect the power adapter to the Power connection [11] on the rear of each speaker, then plug it to the electrical wall outlet. Open the battery cover at the back and place the enclosed "AAA" alkaline batteries to activate the remote control.
