B 2. 12 2. 12. 1 Reliability Annualized Failure Rate (AFR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) The product shall achieve an Annualized Failure Rate (AFR) of 0. 73% (MTBF of 1. 2 million hours) when operated in an environment that ensures the HDA case temperatures do not exceed 40°C.
