Applicability
This feature is available in the following products:  Matrox iSwitch 8 prior to version 2. 20 allows the Time Servers to be enabled or disabled.  [. . . ] If the time source is User,  the TPC will never attempt to resolve the time. If the Time Source is Server,  the TPC starts. It sends requests to the timer servers provided to it. The Time Settings page contains a list of Time Servers. This page also lists the Number of Attempts per Server and the Server Timeout Period. The TPC will try to resolve the time by sending up to 10 requests to each timeserver. The exact number of attempts to make is in the Number of Attempts per Server field. The TPC waits until the Server Timeout Period expires. If there is no reply,  then the TPC tries the next servers in the time server list. This process continues with each time server until one replies.  [. . . ] The time that is resolved from the time server is Greenwich Mean Time. The Matrox iSwitch converts this time to the local time using the Time Zone information provided to the Time Settings page.
