If you only want to prompt users to reboot, select the Do not force a reboot option. If you want to force users to reboot shortly after they see a warning message, select the upper Force a reboot after option, and set a time delay. The default setting is 30 seconds.

To force users to reboot after a set number of reminders, select the lower Force a reboot after option, and set the number of reminders and the time between each reminder. You may set up to 60 reminders from 1 to 60 minutes apart. The default settings are 3 reminders at 5 minutes apart. Click OK.

NOTE: To override global settings at the individual domain level, right-click the domain name, point to Manage Components, and then click Component Configuration. In the dialog box, select the Upgrade settings checkbox, and then click the Upgrade tab. You can then change the parameters for the domain as described.
Configuring custom update message options
You can configure two custom messages (message titles and bodies) to be shown to the user before an update begins and after it has completed. You can also choose whether to have the message dialog box timeout after a specified number of seconds. In the anti-virus domain view, right-click choose Component Configuration. The Custom Update Message dialog box appears (Figure 5-19).

In the Window Title text box, type your custom title for the message that appears before the update begins. The default title is Network Associates Update Agent. In the Message text box, type the body for the custom message that appears before the update begins. Select the Display this message to users after the update checkbox to display your custom message after the update. In the Window Title text box, type your custom title for the message that appears after the update. The default title is Network Associates Update Agent. In the Message text box, type the body for the custom message that appears after the update. Leave the Continue after checkbox selected (the default); it specifies whether the message dialog box will automatically timeout so that the Update Agent can continue.
