To change from the default Progressive Scan Mode 1 setting perform the following steps: Note: The MVP861 needs to be in the Progressive Scan Mode and the Monitor/TV connected to the Component Video Outputs Jacks. 1. Press the SETUP Push-button on the supplied Remote Control to access the On-Screen Disc Setup Menu. Then press the Right directional Push-button to select the Video Setup Menu Icon Tab. Figure 22 26 SETUP, con't How to Set the Audio Audio Channel The MVP861 allows the configuring of various audio parameters to match the number, size and distance of Loudspeakers in the system. Press the SETUP Push-button on the supplied Remote Control to access the On-Screen Disc Setup Menu. Then press the Right directional Push-button to select the Audio Setup Menu Icon Tab. The Speaker Setup Menu will now appear On-Screen. Refer to figures 24 and 25. Notes: The title of the icon button-bar will change color from yellow (the cursor color) to green indicating the selected item. The following steps for Multichannel Loudspeaker Adjustments (Speaker Configuration, Channel Level and Delay Time) are also the same for a 2-Channel Loudspeaker System. In a 2-Channel System the On-Screen Menus that appear will have the non-connected Loudspeakers menu items grayed out. The LARGE Setting refers to the Loudspeaker capability for reproducing bass frequencies down to 35Hz within -3dB of the midrange frequencies. If a Loudspeaker can not reproduce bass frequencies down to 35Hz within -3dB of the midrange frequencies it is considered SMALL. Use the Down directional Push-button to select SPEAKER CONFIGURATION followed by pressing the SELECT Push-button on the Remote Control. Press the Down directional Push-button to activate the Picture Contrast Setting; use the Up or Down directional Push-buttons to adjust the Contrast from a setting of -6 to +6.
