Numbered musical notation display and Step Record are the other new features offered to you in this keyboard. Taking care of your electronic keyboard Your keyboard will give you years of playing pleasure if you follow the simple rules given below: Location Do not expose the unit to the following conditions to avoid deformation, discoloration, or more serious damage. High temperature (near a heat source, or in a car during the day time). [. . . ] Press [+/YES] and [-/NO] together will set the OCTAVE value to its default one. Beat The LCD displays the beat value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or DIAL to set the time signature for the song you play. There are up to 9 types of time signature for you to select, 0, 2~9, 9 Split point The LCD displays the split point value. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or DIAL to change the split point. The keyboard can also be used to change the split point. The part below the split point is the part of the CHORD area. To experience the effect , press [LOWER] button to enter lower voice, You can hear one voice in the left-hand area of keyboard and another voice in the right-hand area. Pedal assign The LCD displays the type of pedal. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or DIAL to change the pedal assign. The pedal can be set as sustain pedal, soft pedal, start/stop pedal or memory select pedal. The default pedal type is the sustain pedal. 16 Function Menu Touch This function allows you to adjust the dynamic level when playing the keyboard. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or DIAL to change the touch response level. Press [MIXER] button, select the option you want to set. Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] or the DIAL to set the parameter. To experience the effect, choose a style to play and set your desired mixer parameter. Metronome This function assists you to count the beat easily when playing the keyboard. Press [METRONOME] button to turn on the metronome. Press [METRONOME] button again to turn off the metronome. Note: Metronome can be played in tempo with the accompaniment whenever you turn on the style. 19 Memory Bank There are 8 banks at all; each bank has 6 memories (M1~M6). Use [+/YES]/[-/NO] button or DIAL to select the bank. Store and load 1. The data will be stored to the M1 (M2~M6). Press [STORE] and [M1] together while power the keyboard , the memory data will be saved and set as the default value. Please note that it will clear the recorded data. Data store memory The data can be stored to the memory is as follows: Voice Right 1, Voice Right 2, Voice Left, Sustain, Style, Tempo, Function parameter, Mixer parameter, ACCOMP volume and the Octave. Note: If current data is not the same as the current memory data, the corresponding memory flag on LCD will be erased. 20 O. T. S. In this function, it can load 4 types of parameters (M1~M4) that is suitable for the current style. Press [O. T. S. ] button to turn on this mode and lighten the O. T. S flag on LCD. [. . . ] When the Chord Type and Chord Root are confirmed, The LCD will display the Chord and its keyboard position. DICT 2 (CHORD TEST MODE) A. B. C. SUSTAIN DUAL LOWER SYNC STOP EDIT ACCOMP MELODY 1 MELODY 2 MELODY 3 MELODY 4 MELODY 5 Press [CHORD DICTIONARY] button again to enter DICT 2 mode. The chord area on the LCD will display a random chord. When you play the correct chord within 3 seconds, the next chord (random) will be displayed on LCD for you. [. . . ]
