Road traffic regulations are in effect for this setting: This means that all roads may generally be used; however one-way streets may only be driven on in the proper direction of travel. As a rule, pedestrian zones are not directly accessible and a corresponding message is emitted. As an alternative to the default setting you can choose one of the following options: o When the manual traffic jam avoidance function is active, a warning symbol on the map view indicates the next traffic disruption on your route that will affect your travel time. When the automatic traffic jam avoidance function is active, the navigation software automatically uses available traffic information to calculate detours around traffic disruptions in your way that would affect your travel time. The use of ferries is taken into account for the purposes of route calculation (default). o · As an alternative to the default setting you can select the following option: o · The use of ferries is avoided for the purposes of route calculation. In addition to rural roads, roads and A-roads, motorways are also accounted for route calculations (default): As an alternative to the default setting you can select the following option: 26 Adjusting the settings o The use of motorways is avoided for the purposes of route calculation. Adjusting the Display In this sub-menu you can adjust the appearance of the touchscreen on your navigation system to meet your personal needs.
