Unit mounting location Choose a mounting location where the unit will not interfere with the normal driving functions of the driver. Install the unit where it does not get in the driver´s way and cannot injure any passengers if there is sudden braking, such as an emergency stop. Installation If you want to install the car radio yourself, please read the advice for installation and connection in this manual. CD player The CD player is a Class 1 laser product. The unit is equipped with a safety system that prevents the emergence of dangerous laser beams during normal operation. Hold for several seconds to activate the manual tuning mode ("MANUAL" appears in the display). If no buttons are pressed for several seconds, the unit will return to the AUTO searching mode. AUTOMATIC MEMORY STORING AND PROGRAM SCANNING - Automatic Memory Storing Press the AMS button (15) for several seconds. The root name is displayed for a few seconds and then the first directory or MP3 file name is displayed (selected). If the selected name is a directory, you can go into the selected directory by pressing the BND/ LOUD (ENTER) button and continue to search for the MP3 file name in this directory by pressing the TUNE/ TRACK/ SKIP -/+ buttons.
