C ­ Installation by learning On the TV, VCR, SAT, AUDIO and DVD appliances, you could learn some of the original remote control keys. The sketch 1 shows you which keys could be learned by each appliance. 1 - Put face to face , separated by 2 to 3 centimetres , the original and the Zap 8 remote control. 2 - Press the key LEARN and keep it pressed. While keeping pressed the key LEARN, press on the MUTE key and keep it pressed until the light switch back on green. 3 - Press on the ZAP 8 the key corresponding to the appliance to order (ex TV) the light switch off briefly. To learn an appliance on the key LEARN, go directly to the step 4. 4 - Press on the Zap8 the key to learn (for ex P+) the light switch off briefly. 5 - Press briefly , on the original remote control , the corresponding key. If the light switch off once, it means the code has been received, wait for 2 seconds, the light switch off twice, you can now do the next key (step 4). If the light flashes in red, it means the code has not been received properly, press again on the original remote control. 6 - When the last key has been learned, press on LEARN to memorise and leaving the learning mode. If no key is pressed during roughly 30 seconds, the light switch off, showing that you're out of the learning mode. D - Favourites channels You have three groups of favourites channels, each group could have up to 5 channels, whatever for the TV or the SAT. Once the channel are programmed, you will enter into the favourite mode of your choice (FAV1, FAV2 or FAV3) then go from a favourite channel to another by pressing on P+. in favourite mode , the light is green. [. . . ] E - Miscellaneous functions Reset You could reset completely the remote control to come as she was just going "out of factory". To do that: 1 - Press the TV key and keep it pressed.
