(Note: Similar procedures will apply to other e-mail programs. ) 1. Scan an image using any Image Editing program.  [. . . ] (Refer to the Microtek Scanwizard 5 online manual "Create and Manipulate a Scan Frame Selection -1").

4. Click on "Scan" to scan the image. After it finish scanning it will transfer the image automatically to the Windows Imaging program.

5. Type in the name of the file under File name. Under Save as type click the down arrow and highlight TIFF Document (*. tif). You can also change the location where you can store the image. Then click on "Save" to save the image.

7. Close your Imaging program and launch your e-mail program. For example if you have Eudora launch your Eudora mail. Type in the e-mail address of your recipient or receiver whom you want to send the e-mail.

10. This will attach the file to your e-mail then click on "Send" to send your e-mail.
