[. . . ] · This Auto-Centering system is not 100% perfect so we recommend you to use a wheel dishing tool together for much more precise adjustment. · Setting wheel in the correct position is crucial. Push down the wheel to set it in the deepest position on the Axle Holder when you tighten the quick release skewer. (Fig. A) -1- How to Operate Foldable Vertical Gauge (Fig. [. . . ] Make sure each metal washer is located inside of the Axle Holder to keep the angle as vertical as possible. While pushing down the T-Gauge2, tighten the knob nut to fix the position. Put the Side Gauges close to the T-Gauge2, then shut the Side Gauges by turining the adjust knob. ! Be careful not to pinch your fingers between the body, stay and leg. -3- Check the clearance between T-Gauge2 and each Side Gauge. If each clearance is equal, your gauge position is perfect. J) About Offset Wheel Setting At first, you should understand that you should fix the vertical movement prior to the horizontal movement, especially on the rear wheel because of its unique wheel system named "Offset". Offset Wheel Check these clearances (Fig. L) If one side is wider and another side is closer, you need to adjust the gauge position with the following steps; Tensioning the front wheel is much easier than the rear. Rear wheel tensioning requires Offset Tensioning. The rear wheel has a different spoke angle pattern when looking at it from behind. L) A rear hub is not symmetrical to the wheel. Because the rear hub must have extra space for gearing, you will need to true using Offset Tensioning. If offset wheel, the torque works mostly only to the right side spokes. Because right side spokes should be assembled more vertically than left side. So you should understand that right side spoke tension is more important than left side spoke's one in this offset assembling. Well adjusted right side spokes can keep your wheel stable in the future. Understand that the nipple should not be loosened at any time. Nipples are made from softer alloys or brass and are prone to stripping easily. (Fig. Loosen two screws which are located underneath the gauge body with a 4 mm hex wrench. Adjust the gauge position side by side until both clearances between the T-Gauge2 and the Side Gauges become equal. When the position is fixed, tighten both bolts firmly. ! ! The gauge should not miss its position so easily while using TruePro gently. Do NOT hit the gauges or handle roughly to keep proper position. You must use a correct spoke wrench which fits the nipples perfectly, especially when you use light alloy nipples on your wheel. If you use wrong size one, the nipple will be round easily and you cannot continue your work any more. -4- How To Fix Vertical Movement The vertical movement within 3 mm may not cause any troubles. But if you want to be it as zero as possible for smoother ride, you should try again and again with the following process. [. . . ] If the wheel moves yet, continue the process again.
