[. . . ] Nitrogen gas filling additionally provides permanent protection against corrosion and prevents fogging of the optical surfaces, even with extreme temperature fluctuations. The state-of-the-art optical systems of the BV 8x42 BR and BV 10x42 BR assure exceptional viewing enjoyment. These feature multicoated lens elements that minimize glare and reflections and guarantee an unusually high light transmission as well as neutral color rendition. Thanks to the roof prisms with a phase correction coating the user can rely on excellent detail rendition and high contrast ­ even in poor light. The new BV binoculars are optionally available with an 8x or 10x magnification and are the perfect companion for the next hunting session. The scope of delivery includes a wide neoprene strap and an ever-ready case.
