To select a Font Size for the phone menu screens,

Select 1 Font Size. Select Small (6 pt. ) or Large (9 pt. ) and press OK softkey. Default setting = Large
To select a Language,

Select 2 Language. Select English or Spanish and press OK softkey. Your carrier may offer other language selections.
The language selection will also change the T9® Quick Type language database.
Default setting = English When enabled, Auto Lock will automatically lock the phone when it is turned on. You must enter the 4-digit Unlock Code to use the phone. To enable/disable Auto Lock,

Select 3 Auto Lock. Select Disable or Enable and press OK softkey. If you enable Auto Lock, you will need to select a 4-digit Unlock Code. You will then have to enter the Unlock Code each time you turn on the phone. Default setting = Disable
To set the Default Service Mode, either Voice Mode or Data Mode, that will be active when you turn on the phone,

When enabled, the Talk Timer will display when a call connects. It displays the duration of a call in hours, minutes, and seconds. To enable/disable the Talk Timer,

The Security menu allows you to control calling restrictions, change Security and Unlock Codes, set Encryption, and reset various items.
