NOTE: The entire set up procedure can be done via the control panel or remote control handset. Using an A/V Processor/Receiver Connect a single interconnect cable from an A/V processor/receiver to the connection marked LFE input. LFE must be displayedonthecontrolpaneldisplay. If`Inp'(indicatingstereoinput)isdisplayed, theLFEbuttonontheremotecontrol canbepressedtoselectLFE. LFEshouldthenbeindicatedonthedisplay. UsingtheLFEinput, negatestheGSW12'scrossoverfilter. ThisneedstobesetontheA/Vprocessor/receiver. Pleaserefer totheproductusermanualforfurtherinformation. Asaguide, thecrossovershouldbesetupinaccordancewiththelow frequencylimitofthemainspeakers(seetableonpage10). Using L&R stereo inputs StereoL&Rinputmayberequiredifusinga2-channelstereoamplifier, oranolderA/VreceiverwithnoLFEoutput. Connect 2xinterconnectcables(leftandright)fromastereoamplifierorA/VprocessorreceivertoconnectionsmarkedLine Inputs L & R. `Inp'(indicatingstereoinput)mustbedisplayedonthecontrolpaneldisplay. When the GSW12 is in phase with the main/satellite speakers the sound should be full bodied. Sit in a normal listening position whilst adjustingthephasesettings. Whensetcorrectlythelocationofthesubwoofershouldbealmostundetectable. Experimentation isadvisable. Howeveritshouldbenotedthatinmostcasesthephasecontrolshouldbesetto0degrees, especiallywhen usingadigitalA/VprocessororA/Vreceiveramplifier. Auto Off Thismenuallowstheusertoselecttheautoturnoffdelaytime. Thetimedelaycanbeadjustedfrom5-25minutesin5minute intervals. Save data Pushthecontrolbutton(orpressenter)tosaveyourset-updata. ThedisplaywillshowSAVEOK, toconfirmthesettingshave beensavedsuccessfully. ThesesettingswillnowberememberedwhentheGSW12isswitchedoff. Volume level adjustment Once data has been saved the volume can be adjusted to the desired level either by the main control panel or by using the remote control.
