If your cleaner is not picking up as well as it should, please check Dust canister It is important to regularly empty the canister, even if it does not appear full. Filters It is important that the pleated filter is shaken clean each time the dust canister is emptied, this allows air through the appliance. Wash the canister filters regularly in warm water and allow to air dry. Blockages Check the hose, tubes and tools for blockages. Safety cut-out If the air-flow is blocked or the filters are not regularly cleaned, a thermostat may operate. If this happens, switch off and disconnect from the mains supply. WARNING: The turbo nozzle should not be used with the extension tubes. Following use, your turbo nozzle may become clogged. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is switched off and the turbo nozzle is detached from the hose. Turn over the nozzle and pull away any hairs or fibres. If they are tightly wound around the brush, carefully snip the fibres with scissors, being careful not to damage the brush bar, pull away from the brush bar and dispose. To aid cleaning, the turbo nozzle can be opened up by pushing the button on the nozzle forwards. EMPTYING Empty the dust canister regularly even if it does not look full, this will maintain the performance. 1 Remove the front cover < by lifting the cover release lever ¤ E. Lift-up the dust canister release Ï and pull the canister away from the main body. Turn the lid quarter-of-a-turn anti-clockwise to unlock, lift off the lid with pleated filter Ó, put to one side F. Lift out the central mesh filter Ô from the dust canister Ò G. Empty out the dust canister Ò. F 2 G Ó Using the accessories Attach the crevice nozzle Ê to the hose end connector Î or tubes  to access narrow or hard to reach places.
