Sleep button 1 Use this button to turn the heat on for 30 minutes when the timer has switched the heat off. 3 The small light at the base of the switch will flash to indicate that the sleep function has been activated. 4 After 30 minutes the light will stop flashing and the heat will switch off. · Note: This function will only operate if the blanket is switched to a timer off setting, which has reached the end of the time period. It will not work if the switch is at the OFF 'O' position. Preheating the bed 1 Turn the blanket on by setting one of the timer off settings /, < or Â. 2 Set the heat setting on the control switch to maximum heat, the light indicator will show a red light to indicate that the preheating has been selected. Allow approximately 10-20 minutes for a light heat and a further 20-30 minutes for the blanket to heat the bed thoroughly, although this time may vary depending on room temperature. For example, set to turn heat off after 1 hour, move the button to /. Ensure that the heat setting is set to a low, all night level. Note: The timer function will switch the blanket off after the selected time. Timer must be switched to the OFF position before setting a further time.
