O Call Barring Call barring is a network feature which can be used to selectively bar outgoing and incoming calls. If you change the barring setting, you may be asked to enter your barring password. There will be a short delay while the phone notifies the network of the new setting. When the change has been made by the network, the phone will display a confirmation message. The initial password will be supplied to you by your Cellular Service Provider when you subscribe to this service. Bar Outgoing Calls After selecting this option, there will be a short delay while the phone asks the network for the current setting. Barring Int'l Calls When selected, this option will bar outgoing international calls. Barring Int'l Calls Except to Home When selected, this option will bar outgoing international calls, except those to your home country. All Calls When selected, this option will bar all outgoing calls, except emergency calls. Off When selected, this option will disable all call barring for outgoing calls. They are phone based options, you do not need to subscribe to call barring to use them. Keypad Dialling This option can be used to restrict your phone to dialling numbers stored in your phone and SIM card memory. You will not be able to use the digit keys to make a call. Phone Number Length This option can be used to limit the number of digits allowed in a phone number. By setting this limit, you may be able to restrict access to international or long distance calls. If you change the setting to On , you will be asked to enter the maximum phone number length by using the digit keys. Restrict Incoming Calls This option can be used to stop your phone from receiving incoming calls. It is a phone based option, you do not need to subscribe to call barring to use this option.
