Ring Styles Selecting a Ring Style Find the Feature Press 1S 2 SELECT (+) M > Ring Styles > Style To scroll to the ring style select the ring style Customizing a Ring Style Change Style Settings You can change the alerts that notify you of the following events: incoming calls, text messages, voicemail 101 messages, data calls, fax calls, alarms, and reminders. The tones appear in the list of available alerts. Create a Tone Find the Feature Press 1S 2 SELECT (+) 3 CHANGE (+) 4 keypad keys 5 OK (+) 6 CHANGE (+) 7 keypad keys M > Media Center > My Tones To scroll to [New Tone] select [New Tone] select Notes enter notes (see following section) store the notes select Name enter a name for the tone 103 Press 8 OK (+) 9 DONE (-) To store the name store the tone Enter Notes Use the keypad keys to enter each note. Press a key multiple times to cycle through its notes or options (pitch, octave, or length). The default setting for a new tone is a quarter note in octave two. Enter one or more rests (R characters) as needed in the tone sequence. Set the length of the rest by entering a q, h, or w character after the rest, just as you would for a note. Press M to enter the Compose Menu, and select Play All to play the notes you have entered.
