Changing the Active Line Change the active phone line to make and receive calls from your other phone number. Redialing a Number If you hear an ordinary busy signal: Press 1 2 To hang up redial the busy number Using Automatic Redial If the network is busy, you hear a fast busy signal, and your phone displays Call Failed. 49 With automatic redial, your phone automatically redials the number for four minutes. When the call goes through, your phone rings or vibrates one time, displays Redial Successful, and then connects the call. You must turn on automatic redial to use the feature. To turn automatic redial on or off: Find the Feature > Settings > Initial Setup > Auto Redial Calling Features When automatic redial is turned off, you can manually activate the feature to redial a phone number. When you hear a fast busy signal and see Call Failed: Press or RETRY ( ) To activate automatic redial Using Caller ID Calling line identification (caller ID) displays the phone number for incoming calls in your phone's external and internal displays. The phone displays the caller's name when the name is stored in your phonebook, or Incoming Call when caller ID information is not available. 50 Canceling an Incoming Call While the phone is ringing or vibrating: Press or IGNORE ( ) To cancel the incoming call Depending on your phone settings and/or service subscription, the call may be forwarded to another number, or the caller may hear a busy signal.
