If reminders are turned on, your phone sends a reminder every five minutes until you close the new message notification, read the message, or turn off your phone. (See "Reminders" on page 124. ) 97 Messages--Text From the new message notification: Press READ (+) To open the message (or your text message inbox if there are multiple messages) As memory space for storing messages gets close to full, the X (message waiting) indicator flashes and your phone displays Memory is Low!When no more messages can be stored, your phone displays Memory is Full!and the network temporarily holds your new messages. To receive these new messages, you must delete some existing messages from your inbox, outbox, or drafts folder. Reading, Locking, or Deleting a Text Message You can open your text message inbox to read, lock, or delete messages at any time. Messages in the text message inbox are sorted from newest to oldest. The oldest messages are deleted automatically as specified by the inbox cleanup setting (see "Setting Up the Text Message Inbox" on page 96). If you want to save a message, you should lock it to prevent it from being deleted during cleanup.
