The SD4502 handset with color display lets you see and hear activity in the room. 1 2 3 4 Place the camera in the room to be monitored. Press the CONNECT TO button on your handset. The display lists the devices registered to the base unit. Press the VIEW softkey if you are using the SD4502 color display handset. Press the LISTEN softkey on SD4501 handset. Press 5 B to end the connection to the camera 8 Lighting Tips for Your Camera Your camera has night vision capability. The camera senses light levels and adjusts accordingly. The night vision works only when your camera is plugged into a wall outlet. Using Your Camera Night vision images have less and less color as the lighting level is reduced becoming black and white once night vision mode is fully engaged. You can achieve better color saturation by increasing the lighting level in the room being viewed. Consider where your camera is placed, and what you wish to view. For a brighter image, you can adjust the contrast on the SD4502 color display handset. Notes: Like any camera, the more uniform the brightness is in a room the more easily items can be viewed. 9 Setting Contrast for SD4502 Handset 1 2 3 4 5 Press Menu. Adjust the contrast setting by using the scroll keys. Press OK to save changes. Note: The camera should never be pointed directly at the sun or damage may occur. 10 FCC Information This equipment complies with Parts 15 and 68 of the FCC rules and the requirements adopted by the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA).
