Never remove the filter when the appliance is full of hot water. - Our guarantee excludes kettles which do not work or which work badly, due to the absence of anti-scaling. The use of this appliance by children or handicapped people should be avoided unless under supervision. FLA1, FLB1, BAB1, BY4001, BY4011 and BY1001 models: fill the appliance with cold water, take the kettle off its base and put it back again so as to reset the automatic cutoff system. Other models: fill the appliance with cold water, wait for 1 minute, then try again. - If your appliance only works intermittently or stops before reaching the boiling point, it may require descaling. If your appliance is still not working, contact a Moulinex approved service centre (see list in the “Moulinex Service” booklet).
