MIXING FUEL H Add oil to an approved fuel container followed by the gasoline to allow incoming gasoline to mix with oil. INSTALLATION OF SPARK ARRESTER G A spark arrester screen is required when using your blower on U. Remove 4 screws on the muffler cover (K) by using screw driver. Remove the 2 small screws (M) from spark arrester screen (N). Replace old spark arrestor screen with new spark arrestor screen and install 2 screws. Place blower on your back by slipping arms through the shoulder straps as if you were putting on a jacket (Figure 4-3A). Adjust shoulder and chest straps so that the back pack feels comfortable on your back (Figure 4-3B). Once adjustments have been made, remove the blower from your back and place on level ground. RECOMMENDED FUELS Some conventional gasolines are being blended with oxygenates such as alcohol or an ether compound to meet clean air standards. Your McCulloch engine is designed to operate satisfactorily on any gasoline intended for automotive use including oxygenated gasolines.
