Installation Steps
1. Park the tiller on a level surface and raise or lower the Depth Regulator Lever until the base of the engine is level. Keep the tiller and engine level to help prevent the engine from falling off the tiller when the engine mounting screws are removed. IMPORTANT: When removing the engine mounting screws in Step 3,  do not allow the engine to move out of position on the left and right side engine support brackets. It is critical to proper belt alignment that the same mounting holes in the engine support brackets be used when installing the bumper mounting screws. Loosen (do not remove) the hex nuts on the four screws that secure the engine to the left and right side engine support brackets. Note the position of the screws in the support brackets.
