The Magic Lift was designed to aide in bath positioning,  while allowing the caregiver to lift the child down into and out of the tub.  [. . . ] The legs (a) should be adjusted so that the unit fits securely in the tub. Place the child in the unit,  fastening the strap between their legs (b),  the waist strap and one,  or both,  chest straps. (If the straps are incorrectly placed,  remove the child from the bath chair and readjust the strap placement under the netting). Turn the black locking latch (c) to unlock the handle. Slowly raise the handle (d) to lower him down into the tub. To raise the child out of the tub,  first bring their hands to the middle before raising the lift handle. (If further support is needed to maintain their hands in the middle,  the upper strap can be placed around the trunk and arms. )
