Iftheloadimpedance fallsbelow3ohms, indicatingsomethingotherthan aloudspeakerisconnectedtotheamplifierchannel, theOMCwilllimitthepowerflowandpreventthe amplifierfromoverdrivingoroverheating. Thisis notonlyprotectstheamplifier, butitalsoprevents
degradation, andquestionablereliabilityofswitches. Instead, the Flex-Padusesthetriedandtruepatch-bayconcepttoconfigurethe amplifierchannels. Theconfigurationisvisuallyobvious, makingiteasier fortechnicianstosetupthesystemandtotroubleshootforsystemerrors. Thesuppliedpatchcablescanbeeasilyreconfiguredorreplaced.
