Playing a voice recall recording To play a voice recall recording that has been allocated to number, use the following procedure. With the required phone record's details displayed in the edit mode, use the and keys to highlight the Voice field and press Softkey 1. The voice recall recording for the selected phone record will be played in the phone's earpiece and the phone record details will be re-displayed. Editing/deleting a voice recall record With the required phone record's details displayed in the edit mode, use the and keys to highlight the Voice field and press Softkey 1. A screen asking you to confirm the deletion will be displayed. Press Softkey 1 to delete the recording. LED Allocate an LED colour If you wish the LED to flash a certain colour when a particular phone number calls your phone, use the following procedure. With the required phone record's details displayed in the edit mode, use the and keys to highlight the Arrival LED field and press Softkey 1. The LED on/off screen will be displayed. A list of the LED colours will be displayed. Use the and keys to highlight the required LED colour then press Softkey 1 to make your selection. The phone record details will be re-displayed showing which LED colour has been allocated. LED flashes in the following case: · During charging . . . . . . Colour 9 (Apple) Allocate a CLI picture To display one of the 20 CLI pictures stored in your phone when a particular phone number calls you, use the following procedure. With the required phone record's details displayed in the edit mode, use the and keys to highlight the Picture field and press Softkey 1. The CLI picture on/off screen will be displayed. The first CLI picture and its title will be displayed. Use the and keys to display the CLI pictures in turn and when the required picture is displayed, press Softkey 1. The phone record details will be re-displayed showing that a CLI picture has been `Set'. A CLI picture can be allocated to more than one phone record. 30 Allocate a ring melody If you wish a specific ring melody to sound when a particular phone number calls your phone, use the following procedure. With the required phone record's details displayed in the edit mode, use the and keys to highlight the Melody field and press Softkey 1. The melody on/off screen will be displayed. Press Softkey 1. The list of melodies will be displayed and the selected melody will sound. The selected melody's number will become green. Use the and keys to highlight the required melody (an example of each melody will be played when they are highlighted) and press Softkey 1. The phone record details will be re-displayed showing the melody title in the melody field. Editing phonebook(SIM) The edit function can be used to alter the existing information in the phonebook(SIM) as follows: If a record is moved/copied from the phonebook(Phone) to the phonebook(SIM), the name will be truncated to the number of characters allowed by your phonebook(SIM) and you will be requested to select which number in the record you wish to move or copy. If a record is moved/copied from the phonebook(SIM) to the phonebook(Phone), you will be prompted to enter the phone number type before the record is stored (see page 27). When a record in the phonebook(SIM) has been entered for editing purposes, the name field is displayed above the number field. Press Softkey 1 to enter the edit mode. Use the text editing facilities (see page 33) to make any changes necessary to the text and then press the key to enter the number field. Make any changes necessary and press Softkey 1 to save the changes. Deleting a single phonebook record When any phonebook record is highlighted, the edit menu can be displayed by pressing Press 3. The confirmation screen will be displayed. [. . . ] Use the key to highlight OK and press Softkey 1. The settings will be stored. Checking settings This option displays all the options from this menu with their current settings. Press 3 to display the Check settings screen. Back This option returns you to the mail menu (see page 65). Press 0 to return to the Mail menu screen. 72 Viewer With the standby screen displayed, press the key to display Viewer screen. There are four view items; Animation view, Wallpaper view, CLI view, and Melody play. Animation view Select the Animation view icon from the Viewer screen and press Softkey 1.
