"When you put posters up in the lobby, they tend to become wallpaper and after a while, no one reads them, " said Kirchner. "The NEC plasmas are always changing, so it's visually much more interesting and there is a greater tendency to look at the board. The first time people see the NEC plasma display they tend to sit right in front of it and watch it for a while ­ I think they're a bit mesmerized by it.
