[. . . ] The higher the temperature of the incoming water, the better the washing and drying results will be. ^ Opening the door of the dishwasher 2-3 inches (5-6 mm) at the end of the program will speed drying. 30 Operating the dishwasher Turning on the dishwasher ^ Check that the spray arms are not blocked. ^ Press the "On/Off" button (14). If the door is closed again, the program will continue from the point it was at before the door was opened. Warning: Water in the dishwasher may be hot. Only open the door if absolutely necessary and exercise extreme caution when doing so. Before closing the door again, leave it ajar for approximately 20 seconds. This will allow the temperature in the wash cabinet to settle. Close the door firmly until it clicks into place. Changing a program If a program has already started and you wish to change it proceed as follows: ^ Turn the program selector (18) to the "Stop" position. ^ Leave the program selector (18) in this position for at least one second. ^ Then turn the program selector (18) to the program you wish to use. ^ Press the "Start" button (21).
