Panorama, you can easily assemble photos from digital cameras or scanners to complete 360º or partial panoramas in minutes. [. . . ] Then click the Print button to print a suitable Compass Chart. The Print Compass Chart dialog box To use the Compass Chart while taking pictures: 1. Put the printed Compass Chart on the top of the tripod. Mount the Compass Chart on the top of the tripod 9 2. Move the camera one scale of the Compass Chart each time you take a picture. The Compass Chart ! Use the same lens and aperture setting for the same panoramic set of photos. By keeping the same photo settings, you will have a more consistent panorama photo. For horizontal panoramas, take pictures clockwise (left to right); for vertical panoramas, take pictures from top to down. Panorama will stitch these photos in correct alignment. ! 10 Creating a Panorama Chapter 3 Cratn a Pan r ma e ig oa Here we will show you how to create a panorama with Presto!All procedures, including acquiring, opening, stitching, saving, and printing, are explained in detail. Follow these steps to quickly create a perfect panorama photo. Getting Photos Before using a TWAIN-compatible device to get photos, you need to install the device driver provided by the hardware vendor. For more details, please consult your device's user manual. Click the Get Photo icon to open the Get Photos dialog box. In the Get Photos dialog box, set the following: The Get Photos dialog box 11 Source Click the Select button to open the Select Source dialog box. All TWAIN sources installed on your system will be listed in the Sources box. Click the device to be used, and press the Select button. Type the prefix of the file name for imported images. The program will automatically name the imported images numerically with the prefix you specify. For example, if you set the prefix as "photo_", acquired image files will be named "photo_001", "photo_002", etc. Specify the desired file format for acquired images. Click the Directory button to specify the directory for storing imported images. Prefix Format Directory 3. Click the Start button to activate the device's control dialog box. For details about inputting an image, please refer to the device's user manual. A file name will be added in the lower left corner of the dialog box after an image is imported. When all desired images have been imported, click Finish. Opening images Presto!Panorama offers various ways to find desired images. You may choose to open and sort images by prefix, imported date, or alphabetical order of file names. Panorama stitches images from left to right or top to down. [. . . ] If the image alignment is incorrect, simply drag the image to overlap the matching area with the adjacent image. If the color of one of the photos doesn't match the rest, click that image and drag the RGB slider to correct the brightness of the specified image. Or, you can drag the respective R, G, or B channels to fine-tune the image. If you don't select any image, the color adjustment you make will be applied to all the images in the Preview window. 4.
