 [. . . ] With this attachment,  the viewfinder image is viewed at right angles (via the built-in roof prism) to the camera's optical axis--a feature that is very convenient when shooting from low (or high) viewpoints,  or when normal finder viewing is difficult,  as in close-up work or photomicrography.  [. . . ] (Certain cameras are not equipped with eyepieces. *1 The DR-5 cannot be mounted on earlier Nikon F model cameras designed with no thread on the eyepiece. *2 The D3-series,  D2-series,  D700 and F6's eyepiece lock function is not available. Look through the attachment and turn the diopter adjustment ring until the image on the focusing screen appears sharp and crisp.  â· If the image becomes unclear after reajusting the reproduction ratio,  turn the diopter adjustment ring again. When reproduction ratio of the Right-Angle Viewing Attachment is set to 1:2,  finder view may appear unclear.  in this case ,  adjust the diopter on the attached camera. DR-5: When mounting the DR-5 with the supplied adapter ring,  the adapter ring may be difficult to remove if the DR-5 is screwed into the camera tightly.
