Make sure the EP-60 is oriented correctly and insert it into the battery chamber (Figure 2-b). ⷠOpen the power connector cover ( ) and close the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover, making sure the EP-60 DC IN connector cord goes through the power connector opening ( ). Slide the cover latch until the red dot is hidden ( ), indicating that the cover is latched (Figure 2-c). To ensure a proper connection, make sure the DC plug is fully inserted into the DC IN connector. When operating the camera with the AC adapter kit, take care that the camera does not accidentally become unplugged. [. . . ] Before disconnecting the AC adapter kit, be sure the camera is off.
