When recharging, the ambient temperature should be in the vicinity of 5­35°C (41­95°F). The internal temperature of the battery may rise while the battery is in use. If you attempt to recharge the battery while the internal temperature is elevated, the battery will not charge or will charge only partially. Wait for the battery to cool before charging. If you shake the MH-52 Battery Charger or touch the battery while the battery is charging, the resulting vibration or static electricity may in very rare instances cause the MH52 to indicate that charging is complete although the battery is in fact not yet fully charged. After reading, be sure to keep it where it can be seen by all those who use the product. The Nikon MH-52 can be used to recharge Nikon EN-EL1 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries only. Do not attempt to recharge any other batteries with the MH-52. Before use, read the warnings and other information in this manual and in the documentation for your Nikon EN-EL1 rechargeable battery. Do not connect the product to any device not specifically referred to in this manual. Remove the power cable from the power outlet when not in use.
