With COOLPIX 990, select Wide Adapter in LENS with the Multi selector. With COOLPIX 950/800/700, select WIDE in LENS with the zoom and the shutter release buttons. With COOLPIX 900s/900, select WIDEADAPTER in EXTRA FUNC with the zoom and the shutter release buttons. With the COOLPIX 990, 950, 800, 900s, and 900, when the camera is set to wide converter mode, the lens is automatically zoomed out to minimum zoom, allowing you to take photographs at the widest possible angle. With the COOLPIX 950, 800, 700, 900s, and 900, both the internal and external flash will be off. To take photographs at very short ranges, use macro close-up mode. As conditions however vary according to distance and brightness, it is recommended that you check the image in the LCD monitor or take a test photograph before recording the final photo.
