Manual abstract: user guide NILFISK COMPACT

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] This machine is not suitable for picking up health endangering dust. This machine is for dry use only and shall not be used or stored outdoors in wet conditions. The machine for vacuuming dry dust must not be used for the suction of water or other liquids. The machine must not be used for picking up combustible or explosive materials, nor should it be used in an explosive atmosphere. [. . . ] If the vacuum cleaner is standing on its end, you can park the nozzle on the bottom side in the same way. The suction can be adjusted using the sliding knob on the curved plastic tube. The suction is strongest with the knob pushed forward, closing the aperture. When vacuuming carpets/rugs, for example, moving the sliding knob back to allow other air in can reduce the suction. Models with twin setting The motor has two suction settings: high/low suction. the motor will start in the setting last used. You can adjust the vacuum cleaner to high or low suction by pressing the two-speed button. The filter separates the exhaust air from the microscopic particles, which are not retained by the dust bag. To maintain constant suction, the dust filter must be replaced after approx. 1 year of average use, or more frequently for heavy use. the filter must not be brushed or washed. Lay the machine on its side on a clean and soft surface to avoid scratches. Loosen the three screws by turning them through 90¢TM using a coin. Tighten the three screws by turning them through 90¢TM NB The vacuum cleaners efficiency depends on the size and quality of the filter. Using non-original filters may result in impaired airflow and consequent overloading of the motor. The dust bag must be changed when the suction decreases. If the dust bag indicator is completely yellow/red, you need to change the bag by following this procedure. Open the dust compartment by lifting the dust cover with your hand. With the bag still in the machine, pull up the corners of the cardboard flap. Unfold the new bag, insert it and close the dust compartment. This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a unique possibility to store the vacuum cleaner on the wall. In order to do so, please read the instruction. [. . . ] If the suction is impaired - the dust bag may be full and need replacement. - the pre-filter or HEPA/MICRO filter may be dirty and need replacement. - the hose, tube or nozzle may be blocked and needs cleaning. If the vacuum cleaner stops -the thermal fuse has cut out the motor as a result of a blockage in the hose, pipe or nozzle. [. . . ]
