[. . . ] Tip: To quickly create a contact from Idle Mode, swivel open the phone and dial the number, press the Left Soft Key (Save), and select Add New Contact. If no name is entered, the default phone number or email address is displayed in the Contact List. You can add new numbers to contacts by entering the number from Idle Mode. Enter the number, press the Left Soft Key (Save), and select Update Existing. Add Pauses Calls to automated systems often require a password or account number. Instead of manually entering numbers each time, store the numbers to your contacts along with special characters called pauses. You may add pauses after entering a number from Idle Mode. The default number is the contact number that is called when you dial by contact name. To change the default number when multiple numbers are assigned to a single contact, do the following: 1. Press the Right Soft Key (Contacts), then scroll to the contact you wish to modify, and press the Left Soft Key (Edit). Scroll to the phone number you wish to set as the default number, and press the Right Soft Key (Options). To select a number for speed dial for a contact with more than one number, scroll to the desired number, and press the Key. Scroll to the contact you want assigned to the selected speed dial slot, and press the Key. To select a number for a contact with more than one number, scroll to the desired number, and press the Key. Press the Key to select Yes and set the speed dial number to the new contact. In Case of Emergency (ICE) allows you to store names, phone numbers and other information, which will be helpful in case of emergency.
