[. . . ] Hold the counterweight stationary with one hand and rotate only the stylus-pressure ring to bring the number "O" of the ring into alignment with the center line on the tonearm rear shaft. Rotate the counterweight with scale ring clockwise to the correct downward stylus pressure. The proper setting of the Phat Trak is 4. 5 grams. For scratch mixing you may choose to use a slightly a higher weight. This cartridge has been designed to track properly from 3-6 grams. Higher weights will prematurely shorten stylus tip life and damage your record. Set the anti-skating control knob to the following values: Club or Standard setup: set to match the downward pressure value Scratch Mixing: set to 0 8.
