Setting up Clients on a Network Unimessage Pro LAN can be installed on up to 5 clients (1 administrator and 4 clients). The MFP connected to the fax server PC is shared among these 5 users. When you do this, do not install the client copies from the CD-ROM--only one scheduler can run on a network at a time. Follow this procedure: Note: If you are using Windows NT 4. 0 or Windows 2000, make sure you have administrator access rights. If the drive where Unimessage Pro is installed is not mapped on the client: a. Use Network Neighborhood to browse to the folder where Unimessage Pro is installed and shared. Right click on the Unimessage Pro folder and select Map network drive from the menu. Select the Client folder on the mapped drive and run SETUP. EXE. Confirm the drive where Unimessage Pro is installed; the suggested drive is usually correct. After registering the location of its components and installing any required updates, restart Windows.
