Olympus will not assume any responsibility for malfunction of the camera caused by water getting inside as a result of misuse by the user. The camera is weatherproof and is not damaged by water spray from any direction. Observe the following precautions when using the camera. En Do not wash the camera with water. Do not take pictures underwater. Water may get inside the camera if the battery compartment/card cover or connector cover are not firmly closed. 1 2 Battery Compartment/Card Cover Connector Cover If the camera gets splashed, wipe the water off as soon as possible with a dry cloth.
