Handling the Camera

Attaching the strap
Attach the strap as shown.
Pull the strap tight so that it does not come loose.

(AA (R6) alkaline batteries
When you need batteries in a hurry, you can use AA (R6) alkaline batteries, which are easy to obtain anywhere. [. . . ] The orange lamp on the camera lights.
To save battery power, the camera automatically enters the sleep mode and stops operating after about 30 seconds of non-operation.
