All models can be connected in all the possible combinations for a maximum of four pairs of sensors with at least one pair connected. The power supply which is necessary to power the system must conform to standard EN 60742 (double insulation) or with equal insulation, for instance VDE 0551. It is necessary to protect the control unit with an outer fuse having a nominal interruption current equal to 1 A. The TEST and RESET pushbuttons must be positioned in such a way that the operator can see the protected area when he restarts, or carries out a test or override operation.
