· Compact size At just 22. 5mm wide, the S8VS Micro has one of the highest power densities per cm3 around! [. . . ] The S8VS Micro also features a DC Low indicator (orange) and DC On indicator (green). It is the ideal solution for manufacturers who want a compact and cost-effective solution for compact machines that require low power. Typical applications include powering PCBs, PLCs, HMIs and sensors in factory automation systems.
Option of 15W and 30W models, each with a choice in output of 5VDC, 12VDC and 24VDC.
Ideal for compact machines
The S8VS Micro incorporates innovative metal-frame circuit board technology that enables it to provide a higher power density per cm3 than almost any other power supply (applies to 30W models only). The discrete components used in this technology dissipate very little heat, so no conventional heat sinks are required. This makes the S8VS Micro ideal for compact machines that require a very reliable power supply, and where space is a premium.
-10°C to 60°C. This feature enables the power supply to operate well in panels that are located externally and which could be subject to harsh conditions.

The S8VS Micro conforms not only to conventional

Flexible mounting
The S8VS Micro can be DIN-rail mounted or mounted directly onto the machine panel with a bracket, either vertically or horizontally, for maximum installation flexibility. And while it is compact, it contains the ideal terminal arrangement for your application.
