[. . . ] Some discs override the display preferences of the player, so even if you have "4:3 (Pan&Scan)" selected, those discs will still be shown in letter box format. · I've connected to a HDMI compatible component but I can't get any signal and the front panel HDMI indicator won't light! Make sure that you've selected this player as the HDMI input in the settings for the component you're using. You may need to refer to the instruction manual of the component to do this. See Connecting using HDMI on page 22 for more on HDMI compatibility. · There's no picture from the HDMI output! This player cannot display pictures from DVI compatible sources. If you want to use them, start the disc playing using a number button to select a track. Playing in slow motion DVD-V VCD You can play DVDs at four different slow motion speeds, forwards and backwards. Video CD can be played at four different forward slow motion speeds. Note: · Backward slow-motion playback does not work with Video CD. Press repeatedly to increase the scanning speed. · The scanning speed is shown on-screen. To resume normal playback, press (play). · When scanning a Video CD playing in PBC mode or a MP3/WMA/MPEG-4 AAC track, playback automatically resumes at the end or beginning of the track. · Depending on the disc, normal playback may automatically resume when a new chapter is reached on a DVD disc. Press and hold or until slow motion playback starts. [. . . ] · You can use the "Interlace" setting if the "HDMI Resolution" is set to "720 x 480i (NTSC)"/"720 x 576i (PAL)". · This unit has been designed to be compliant with HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface). Depending on the component you have connected, using a DVI connection may result in unreliable signal transfers. No HDMI audio output. No HDMI video output No multichannel HDMI audio.
