Speaker setting procedure 1 3 2 Speaker setting Set one of the following parameters for each speaker type. For a typical speaker system with six speakers, set "LARGE/SMALL" or "YES" for all speaker types. Set this parameter if the connected speaker(s) can cover the bass range. SMALL Set this parameter if the connected speaker(s) cannot cover the bass range. YES Set this parameter if you connect a center speaker, surround speakers, or a subwoofer. NONE or NO Set this parameter if there is no speaker connected to that channel and output is to be made to other speakers. Skip this step if the desired input mode is already selected. Do not press MULTI-CH INPUT or you will be unable to go on to the next and later steps. Press SPEAKER repeatedly to select the speaker type for the speaker you are setting and then press PARAMETER CONTROLLER repeatedly to select the parameter you want to set. Each time you press the SPEAKER button, the speaker indicator(s) that is blinking changes as follows. You will get out of the speaker setting mode if the speaker setting operation is interrupted for 3 seconds or longer.
