Manual abstract: user guide PALSON BRISTOL

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Do not allow the power cord to hang over the table or counter edge or in contact with hot surfaces. Do not place any part of this appliance on or near a flame or hot plate or oven. Be particularly careful when moving an appliance that contains hot oil or other hot liquids. Turn the controls to "off" when plugging or unplugging from the mains. [. . . ] BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME Read carefully all the instructions given in this leaflet. ⷠRemove the deep fryer from its packaging. Take out all the attachments and documents from the basket. Clean the lid, the cover with the steam holes, the oil filter, the basket, the oil container and the body with hot water, a little washing-up liquid and a sponge, or wash in the dishwasher. ⷠClean the heating element with hot water. FILLING THE OIL CONTAINER Make sure that the oil container is correctly positioned. The oil level must be kept between the minimum and maximum levels marked inside the container. Check the level each time before use and add oil if necessary. For healthier, crispier food, we recommend using a mixture of vegetable and corn oil. PREHEATING Warning: For your safety, do not use the deep fryer under wall-mounted kitchen cabinets. Keep away from curtains and similar items. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used. Do not allow children to use this appliance. ⷠWhen using for the first time, the deep fryer may give off a slight smell. Each time before use, check that the oil level is between the lines inside the oil container indicating maximum and minimum level. Note: Do not use the deep fryer without the oil container, oil or equivalent substance or without a minimum quantity of oil (underneath the minimum level). Always unplug the deep fryer when it is not being used. You can choose a temperature between 160ºC -190ºC. The red "encendida" light and the green "calentando" light will turn on. When the oil reaches the preset temperature, the green light will turn off. ⷠThe red light will always be lit while the appliance is frying, unless the deep fryer is unplugged. ⷠPlace the basket with the food to be fried in the oil container. [. . . ] STORING THE OIL The deep fryer's lid enables you to keep the oil in the appliance between one use and the next. Keep the deep fryer at room temperature. STORING THE POWER CORD Loosely coil the power cord and place it in its storage compartment. Coiling the power cord too tightly may damage it. [. . . ]
