How to use the HOT/COLD switch Once you have decided between AC or DC current you need only move the switch to the position you require: COLD to put the unit into cooling mode and HOT to keep food hot. When you select COLD a green LED will light up to indicate that it is operating. selecting the HOT function will switch on the red LED. Do not switch directly from COLD to HOT mode or from HOT to COLD mode.
