The fabrics that have some kind of finish (glosses, crimping, contrasts, etc. If the fabric contains several types of fibre, always select the temperature applicable to the fibre that requires the lowest temperature setting. For example, if a garment contains 60% polyester and 40% cotton, you should always choose the temperature setting for polyester and without steam. First sort the garments that are to be ironed by the most suitable ironing temperature; wool with the wool setting, cotton with the cotton setting, etc. As the iron heats as quickly as it cools, start by ironing the garments that require the lowest temperature, such as those manufactured using synthetic fibres, and then move on to the garments that require higher temperatures.
