DIRECTIONS FOR USE Before using for the first time, familiarize yourself with the features of your grill. wash the grill in the dishwasher or in warm , soapy water , rinse and dry. Never immerse the control panel or allow it to come into contact with any liquid. "Grease" the plate surface by rubbing it lightly with cooking oil. Remove the excess oil with a paper towel. Place the grill on a dry, level surface. Plug the other end of the power cord in the mains socket. Turn the temperature thermostat to the desired heat setting. The lamp will turn off when the temperature reaches the setting. During cooking, the lamp will remain lit and the thermostat will keep the device at the desired temperature. The plate finish allows you to cook with virtually no oil. Place the food on the grill and cook to your taste or as stated in the grilling times given below. The heat should be adjusted to your personal preference and the food to be cooked. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket and from the device. A short power cord is supplied in order to reduce the risk of getting tangled or tripping. [. . . ] However, this will have not affect your grill's performance in any way. To remove these stains, use a surface cleaner. After treating the non-stick surface with a cleaner, lightly moisten the plate surface with cooking oil before reusing. [. . . ]
